Jackaby by William Ritter Review

IMG_1072.JPGI really enjoyed this book.

Abagail Rook ran away from home, to adventure and discovery. She just landed in the states, new fiddleham when she comes across Mr. Jackaby a investigator and a very unique one. She is thrown into a murder investigation but there is so much more to it! Jackaby can see the world that we cannot, the fairies and trolls, monsters and magic. He is very unique and brilliant. This is like a mix of Sherlock Holmes and magic. And he acts a lot like Holmes. He is quite funny and their friendship seemed genuine. Abagail is awesome. I loved her character, and jenny. I never got bored in this story and while I did figure out who the murderer was fast I still was anxious to see what happened. I think this is a good light mystery with some hints of fantasy. Definitely a good starter fantasy! I will be continuing this series!!!
